"You should be helping me destroy the world!"
―Mr. Dangerous, to Tiny[src]

Mr. Dangerous is the primary antagonist of The Deliverers Save the World. He is killed by Bernard, who is now a superhero. He has also hired Tiny, a puppy, to help him, though Tiny ultimately defects. He first appeared in 2005, making him the first villain to be conceived by D. Isaac Thomas.

Biography[]

Mr

Mr. Dangerous, moments before his death.

To the end of destroying the world, Mr. Dangerous built the Destructor 4000. He battled Donavan, but the mouse shoved his machine into the water with him in it. It is unclear how he survived.

Finally, he attempted to pull a pair of child-sized scissors on Donavan while he slept, but Camille was able to wake him. Furious, Mr. Dangerous boarded his machine and attempted to kill the mice. After the destruction of the Destructor 4000, Mr. Dangerous was neutralized by Camille when he plummeted to his possible death.[1]

Physical description[]

Mr. Dangerous is a towering rat with yellow eyes. He is 30.4 centimeters tall.

Personality and traits[]

Highly despicable, merciless, and egocentric, Mr. Dangerous is a being of pure malevolence, equating the obtainment of power through mass destruction. While calm and calculating, he can easily be sent into a violent rage at the mention of his enemies or by the incompetence of his minions. He has a very dark, malicious sense of humor. Also, he has no secrets about his intentions, he's very open about his dream of destroying the world and then wipe out all life with the Destructor 4000.

Behind the scenes[]

D. Isaac Thomas admitted that in 2008, he had wanted Mr. Dangerous to be very evil because it would go over the heads of small children if he was nuanced in any way, so giving him an absolutist character arc and a mindset of pure malevolence had always been the plan from the get-go, and an inspiration for several D.I.T. villains going forward. Most villains in media aimed at younger children are either absolute like him, or antivillains who reform rather quickly, with very little middle ground until The Super Babies: Revenge of Hell Burnbottom.
